Instructions of Use:
- Choose a suitable location for the cervical traction therapy where you can comfortably lie down, such as a bed or couch.
- Attach the traction header to the back of your head, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. Adjust the straps as needed to hold the traction header in place.
- Set up the traction pulley at a suitable height above your head, ensuring it is securely anchored to a stable structure, such as a doorframe or hook.
- Thread the string through the traction header and connect it to the sand or water bag, ensuring a secure attachment.
- Fill the sand or water bag with the prescribed weight, making sure it is securely closed.
- Connect the other end of the string to the spread bar, ensuring a secure attachment.
- Lie down in a comfortable position on your back, with your head resting on a pillow or cushion for support.
- Gently pull on the traction string to apply the desired traction force, keeping your neck and head aligned. Maintain the prescribed tension throughout the therapy session.
- Relax your neck and allow the traction force to gently stretch the cervical spine. It is important to avoid any sudden or jerky movements during the traction therapy.
- Monitor your comfort level and adjust the traction force as necessary. If you experience any pain or discomfort, reduce the tension or discontinue the therapy session.
- Maintain the recommended duration and frequency of traction therapy sessions as advised by a healthcare professional.
- After completing the therapy session, release the tension on the traction string and carefully detach the sand or water bag from the spread bar.
- Remove the traction header from your head and store it in a safe place for future use.
